"We" refers to Clarity Eye Clinic, at 309/310 Lodha Signet, Lodha Park, Lower Parel, Mumbai - 400013, and the website clarityeyeclinic.com. Under the DPDP Act, we are the Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal whose data we look after.

02What we collect

• Contact & booking details — your name, mobile, email, and chosen date, time, and doctor.
• Reason for visit and any health information needed to provide your eye care.
• Website data — basic technical and usage information collected via cookies.

We collect this directly from you (through our booking form, messages, or your visit) and automatically through cookies on our site.

03How we use it

We use your data only for clear purposes: to book and manage your appointments, send confirmations and reminders, provide your care and keep your records, answer your enquiries, improve our website, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for anything unrelated without telling you first.

04Consent

We process your data with your consent, given through a clear action such as submitting the booking form after reading this notice. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us — as easily as you gave it. Some medical records may still be retained where the law requires.

05Sharing

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the clinic (such as Google Calendar for scheduling and WhatsApp for confirmations), our clinical team so your doctor can prepare for your care, and legal authorities where required by law.

06Storage & security

We keep your data only as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law, then erase it. We apply reasonable safeguards — secure connections, access controls, and limiting access to staff who need it — and follow the DPDP Act's procedures, including notifying you and the Data Protection Board of India, in the unlikely event of a breach.

07Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you can ask to access the data we hold, correct or erase it, withdraw consent, nominate someone to act on your behalf, and raise a grievance. Contact us below to exercise any of these. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

08Children's data

For patients under 18, we process data only with verifiable consent of a parent or guardian, and we never track or target children with advertising.
